Just back-

Had an OK vacation at WDW due to major YUCKKY!!!! weather. For our first time ever it rained ALL DAY! We tried to brave Epcot but gave up at about 2pm as the wind picked up and sheets of rain blew into our ponchos and strollers....

Wait a minute, this is my dining report, right????

Vacationers- Me, my sis (30), two DS (7 and 4)

Day 1- AK- had a very good lunch at Pizzafari. Used a Q & C voucher for- Italian sandwich, breadsticks, chocolate cake, large soda. The sandwich was very yummy- big enough that sis' and I split. My boys loved the breadsticks and I assume the chocolate cake was great 'cause they sucked it down before I got a bite.
We ordered a kids meal (cheese pizza) for them and they liked it. My sis' tried a piece too and said it was yummy.
Saved about $4 using voucher.

FYI- the AK meal deal was still going on and if I hadn't had a voucher would definitely have done that.

Dinner at B & C- VERY disappointing. Used 2 Q & C vouchers- saved about $18. First, the service was SO bad. Our waitress, Delores, hopefully was having an off-day 'cause she was abrupt and very unaccommodating.
We had the prime rib sub which was very bland and tough. Little meat and lots of bell peppers....

The shakes with dinner were good- coffee and chocolate.

Dessert- hot fudge sundae for sis and I was good, but with my son's brownie sundae we ordered it without whipped cream and when Delores put it on the table it was obvious they had put it on then scraped it off. I said, "We ordered it without whipped cream", and she was all offended and said , "There's no whipped cream on there". We cut our losses and left- NO EXTRA TIP THOUGH!

If I went again I would- get a booth (table was too small for 4), have a cheeseburger, ask for another waitress.

Day 2- MGM- lunch we stopped at that food area by T of T and just had hot dogs, McD fries and some fruit and veggies from the stand (thank goodness for these). Was good to have some roughage.

Afternoon was again not so great as we has PS for Prime time for dessert for 4pm. Got there at 3:45 and the place was mobbed. Weren't seated till 4:40pm and since we wanted to be in line for Fantasmic by 5pm it just didn't work.

The sundaes were OK- waiter was nice- could see that it would have been fun had we had an extra hour to actually enjoy the atmosphere. Would try it again or maybe do Sci-Fi next time- as long as I had lots of time to enjoy.

Dinner at Pepper Market at CS was good. We used a Q & C voucher for a wet burrito, chips, carrot cake and soda and saved about $5. The burrito was yummy and the carrot cake very moist.

Boys had plain pasta which the chef cooked to order- was hot and fresh.

Day 3- MK- had lunch at the Plaza Pavillion. Used one Q & C voucher for the sandwich (split), breadsticks, soda and Mickey bar- saved about $5. Boys had the pizza deal and liked the cheese pizza- the sandwich was very good.

Dinner at Whispering Canyon- lots of fun. We were lucky enough to get a table right in the corner so the kids could play at the Lincoln Log table after they finished and we could still see them. Very relaxing for all of us!

I had the nachos appetizer for dinner- liked it a lot! Sis had the glazed porkchops which were very moist and she pronounced the mashed taters as excellent. Boys kids meals were typical fare. Waiter very accommodating when youngest wanted PB only- not PB and J and for dessert didn't want the Worms in Dirt (pudding, cake and gummi worms)- just brought him the requested bowl of gummi worms.

Only disappointment was dessert... Sis had all day been looking forward to Bananas Foster- described as carmelized bananas, ice cream etc. Anyway, we thought brown sugar, warm bananas, caramel sauce. Well it was basically raw bananas atop ice cream with caramel drizzled over-not great. Dinner for 4- $60

Day 4- Breakfast at Kona Cafe- very very good. Tried Tonga Toast and while I didn't like the banana filling so much I LOVED the french toast. Next time would get that. The sausage was great- a little spicy. Kids loved their Mickey pancakes. 2 Tonga Toast with coffee, 2 Mickey cakes, 1 Sprite, one OJ $32 before tip

Lunch- weather drove us from Epcot- so we checked out some resorts. Had lunch at ASM food court. Used three vouchers saved about $9.
I had a chicken taco salad- good and a hot fudge sundae and soda.
Boys had pasta, pizza, breadsticks, brownie and soda- good.
Sis had cheeseburger/fries marble cake and soda- all good.

Dinner- O'Hana (sp?)- boys went to Never Never Land Club (already had sent WDW a nastygram about prices for childcare but we needed a break so..). Had a wonderful dinner here. Everything was soooo yummy. Meats were so moist and I LOVE the shrimp. Dinner, soda and coffee for 2 $51 before tip.

Would definitely use Q & C vouchers again as I estimate that we saved at least $40 by using them.

All for now-
Steph

how did you get the vouchers? were they from the entertainment
book that costs $80.00?
