Dining recommendations for our one and only DLRP visit - plan second draft

Annettes can't be booked, and sometimes can have long queues. I'd suggest looking to eat at about 5 in the restaurant, later and you could face queues. Takeout doesn't take too long, but I think eating in adds to it as is great in there :)

Thanks for everyone's input - particularly around Inventions and Pizza Planet, we've come up with a second draft: Friday night: Planet Hollywood Saturday lunch: McDonalds in Paris as DH wants to taste the difference! Saturday Night: Rainforest Cafe Sunday Brunch: Inventions character brunch Sunday night: Earl of Sandwich takeaway in hotel Monday lunch: Walt's Monday night: Annette's Diner/possibly take out Monday is our last night so I'd like to catch Dreams at 8pm, not sure whether to grab take out from Annette's and eat it in the room or whether we should we actually eat in the restaurant. In a way I'd rather keep the momentum going until Dreams otherwise we might get back to the hotel and crash! What are the chances of booking on the day/getting a walk in table?

Can I add my own 2 cents?! Have you ever been to Planet Hollywood anywhere else? If do, skip this one. Food was ok, place was REALLY crowded. DD and I were sitting on top of the tables on either side. Really loud and you are in the other diners conversations. It was our least favorite meal of 10 days of London and Paris. Lol
We saw the German restaurant after the fact and were disappointed we didn't eat there!

Ohh don't confuse me! Now I wanna go to Hard Rock as well as Planet Hollywood!
What's Agrabah like? Any recent reviews?

You are making me hungry...mmm nachos :rotfl:

I would definitely recommend Hard Rock in London! Plus, it's the very first a Hard Rock, so it's rather iconic (if you're into HRs...lol)...I'd pick it over Planet Hollywood for sure. :thumbsup2

We ate at Agrabah on our last trip in October (it was our first time eating there) and I was pleasantly surprised!
I believe it would be classified Middle Easttern food, perhaps? Which made me a little leery...but there were lots of choices and even my very picky 11 year old with a food aversion found lots to eat! Lol...so that's saying something. :lmao:
We aren't going next week, but definitely plan to go again! ::yes::

Oh yes! Hard Rock in London is tads better than any Planet Hollywood! ;-)

And note: store in London is across the street from the actual restaurant, if you are looking for merchandise!

We've never been to Planet Hollywood or Hard Rock Cafe, but will got to Hard Rock Cafe in London for sure.
That's a bugger about Planet Hollywood Disney being a bit average :confused3 I would like a table service meal for our first meal at Disney - did think of going to Rainforest Cafe on the first night, but I want to dine in the village on Saturday evening too as we won't actually be in the parks that day and I think RC has some healthier options to counter our lunchtime McDonalds!

We could do a table service restaurant in the park - that would be nice as we will be in the park on Friday afternoon and want to watch Dreams. I'm going back to Blue Lagoon again - DH can't do shellfish though and he and DD have rather limited tastebuds. I see though that he could have beef with chips and vegetables or the lamb with mashed potato and pineapple looks ok for him. They have cheese filled pasta with tomato sauce that would suit DD.

I like that its not the normal steak and chips style meal they would normally go for (despite saying above that's probably what DH will have! :lmao:I like varied options!)
