We are going to US for a Thurs-Monday trip the first of October. I am going with my son (13 on the 1st), his two grandmothers and myself. I am the only one who has been to US, but have only eaten quick service and at the Irish (I think) restaurant in US.

What are your dining suggestions? The Meal Deal doesn't look so great because of the early park closing hours (I think 6 PM and 7PM to close is early) and doesn't include many CityWalk restaurants on it, so we probably won't be doing that.

I don't have a guidebook, but may try to get one in the next week if possible for me to get to bookstore.

Do you have to make reservations at CityWalk?

Do you all like the Brazilian restaurant? The family style Italian? Any good suggestions for both lunch and dinner for a birthday dinner for my son? I have looked on several pages on this thread, but have not found much talking about dining.

Thanks!! (Were are staying at RPR).

Brazilian restaurant?

Our favourites are: Mythos, Sal's Deli, Margaritaville, Three Broomsticks.

You most likely will not need reservations. There are tons of good choices.

Samba Brazilian Steakhouse and Lounge on Citywalk. I saw it on the website.

Have you ever tried the family style Italian restaurant?

Guess what? You are looking at the Citywalk Hollywood website. There is no Brazilian steakhouse in Orlando and no family style Italian (except at the Portofino Bay Hotel).

Go to www.universalorlando.com and click on dining.

My favorites are Margaritaville in Citywalk and Finnegan's in US. I haven't been to Lombard's in a long time, but I enjoyed it a lot when I did go.

I generally enjoy most of the food options at UO, both counter and table dining. I haven't yet been to Mythos, but I hear lots and lots of raves about it.

THANK YOU!!! I would have been trying to figure out where those restaurants where.

I will have to be more careful with my google searches!!!

I will go look at the right website. (What would I do without the DIS)?!!
