I just booked magic May 13, 2006 and requested the early seating. I got the late seating. When I asked my TA about it he said that they try to accomodate you but they can not guarantee you. Is this true? I think the late seating with a 4 and 6 year old is a little too late

Just have your TA call DCL and ask to be waitlisted for early dining - that's what we did and even though our documents showed late dining when we got on board our dining ticket showed early dining. My 7 year old granddaughter and I enjoyed main dining as we ate then went to the show and by then our food was settled and we were ready for bed or party time

Early seating is booked at the time of cruising. Its possible that May 2006 already has early seating booked up. As was said, call and get waitlisted. But you should also know that there are no guarentees your waitlist will come through or they will be able to move you once you are on the ship (one or the other is likely, but not guarenteed). Personally, I can't eat late and with little kids - nope, and I'd book a different cruise. But a lot of people really like late seating, even with kids, and if you are from the West Coast, you won't find it late at all.
