Dining Question

My fiance and I are heading to Disney 10/16-10/21, but have decided to add one extra day to our trip (which will allow us two park days because of the change in flight times). Since we have to switch hotels, things get a little complicated so we are going to skip out on getting the dining plan for the extra night.

Here is my question:

1.) if we have deluxe dining for five nights, how long can we extend the credits (we can use them through the 21st, right? Just not into the 22nd?) If that is the case, then it only leaves us paying out of pocket for our meals on 10/22 because we have some out of pocket meals anyway during the first part of the trip.

I believe your credits are good until midnight of your check out day.

We have used credits for breakfast on the day we fly out (we don't go to a park that day), so what ever credits you have left you should be able to use.

That's what I thought too. Okay, then I can bump our Garden View Tea Room reservation to our final day and pay out of pocket for breakfast. Usually we only do breakfast and dinner, but if we did breakfast and late lunch that will be perfect since we are flying out at 5:00pm.

Your dining credits will be good until 11:59 PM on the 21st.

Unfortunately, if you're using DME to get to the airport you won't have time for a late lunch or afternoon tea on your last day. DME will pick you up at your resort approx 3 hours before your flight time. You could have breakfast or an early lunch.

If you can extend your current reservation to add the one more night, then you get one more night of dining credits, and can use them throughout the whole trip.
