Hi all. Need help with a dining question & I know you all are the ones to help me :goodvibes . If I am staying a week, & decided to buy the dining plan, do I need to buy it for a whole week, or can I do it on a day-by-day basis?

You see, we will not be going to the parks everyday, a couple of days will be spent relaxing our our beautiful resort & I might actually cook!!! :stir:

You have to buy if for your entire party for the entire length of stay. We just returned after a 12 night stay and bought it for us. You can just dine at the resorts on the days you're not going to the parks.

Under the circumstances you outlined, I would not get the dining plan. I think it would not be cost effective for that situation.

It's true that you have to get the plan for every day of your trip, however you don't have to use the credits daily. For example, you can cook dinner one night and the next night use that left over credit for dinner at Flying Fish or California Grill-restaurants that require two credits. It may very well be cost effective not to mention fun, to use the plan that way. :) If you prepare lunch at the resort one day you can use the left over Counter Service credit for breakfast somewhere the next day. You can use the credits in any combination, however you wish. You can use all of your snack credits in one day if you want. Some people report taking home 15 mickey Rice Krispie bars purchased with snack credits the last day. The point is, you can use the plan however you want and still factor in cooking/hanging at the resort. Have fun!
