Dining question for those who have sailed concierge

I know you can order dinner from the MDRs into your room if you're cat T or higher but would it be frowned upon to do this every night and skip the MDRs altogether? Also, how does this work? Are you given a menu for the day and expected to place your order before a certain time? Is it delivered at your scheduled dining time or can you request it at a different time? Can you only order from the menu of the dining room you're scheduled to dine at that evening or can you order from any of the MDRs? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

You will get different responses on this. A lot depends upon who your concierge team is and what ship you are on. On the Dream, we ordered from the menus in the concierge lounge, with everything being off one of the rotational menus, not a mix and match, so to speak. We were served in our stateroom about 45 minutes after early dining started. You do need to order before a cutoff time and the concierge staff will take care of it. You are not limited to the menu from your assigned MDR.

On the Wonder, everything was again handled by the concierge staff, we had a cutoff time in December of roughly 4:00.

Don't forget to enjoy having hot breakfast in your stateroom, as well. Nice to enjoy coffee and eggs while lounging on your verandah. We enjoy this every morning, bummer it is only continental on the last morning.
