Is it likely that they will schedule the themed dining nights the same as they did on the may repo on the august repo? For example, do you think pirate night would be scheduled on the same night etc. ? I am just wondering how I could find out because we want to book Palo in advance, but I don't want to miss any of the special menus or themed nights. I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff!

I'm not sure there's any way to know. In some cases there was an attempt to pin DCL down as to what event would be when and the information, in the end, was incorrect...It seemed as though their schedules were not "fixed" until the information appeared in the Navigator. It would be a good guess to figure that the schedules would not change much as the themed nights went pretty smoothly.

I have a feeling that the order of the theme nights will probably be different on the August repo cruise than we had on the May cruise only because the days in port are different. We had a lot of sea days in the beginning of the cruise where you guys will have a lot of port days. Think they will change the schedule around to accomodate that. So you may not know exactly what the schedule is until you are on board.

i almost wonder if the nights will be somewhat in reverse because of our trip being backwards in reference to the May cruise???

Yeah, yeah, none of us want to miss new things, but I think you're just gonna have to deal if you want to dine at Palo. Do not put any faith into any schedule. And even for the "old" menus, there were new little touches every night. For example, Belle and the Beast put in an appearance when we were having the Lumiere's menu, and each guest received a Belle or a Beast pin as a gift. So, just about everything will be new.

If you love Palo and want to have dinner there, then just be glad you can get a reservation. Even with two weeks, not every group will be able to get one. There were many people on the May repo cruise who were very annoyed that online booking had opened up, and they hadn't been aware.

If you don't want to miss anything new, then you could always skip dinner at Palo. That isn't going to be any different from other times that you've eaten there.

We ended up missing a new menu when we dined at Palo, and I'm a sucker for all that new stuff, too, but by that point, I could have cared less. In my opinion, Palo is always worth it.
