Dining Question ~ Confused on times

We are doing the 3 day Wonder Cruise and are set for the 6pm dining time. However, a friend just got back who had the 8:30 time and was able to select 8pm. Do they do this with the 6pm dining as well? Are they staggering the times like I once heard. We are on central time, so 6pm is really like 5pm to us ~ considering changing dining times. Would welcome any advice!

I read they are doing 5:45, 6:00, 6:15. Not sure if they are starting the 8:00 at 7:45 & 8:15... as well... You can try to switch your time when you board.
