I know you'll all think of things I never would.. How is it leaving the parks to dine at the resorts? Any thoughts? I know everyone is different, but any opinions?? We do have a car - so it would probably be quicker then counting on Disney transportation, but is it too time consuming to pick up and leave the parks? Or are they all fairly close? Can someone estimate how long it'll take to get where I planned? Thank you! Here's my schedule so far:

Thurs Dec 1: Epcot, 11:00 arrival, maybe a late lunch at Epcopt, then:
ressie at Chef Mickey at 7:50

Friday Dec 2: AK
ressie at Park Fare 9:25 AM - wouldn't get to the park till 11:00 or so, right?
or maybe to save time, a breakfast ressie at Rainforest Cafe - smarter, right?

Saturday Dec 3: MK
ressie at CP at 9:25 AM
Concourse at 5:50 or CP at 7:40 WHICH ONE????

Sunday Dec 4: MGM
Sci Fi at 6:25 or early Fantasmic package at 3:30, kinda early, huh?

My advice would be to change your 1900 PF Breakfast at the GF to your Epcot or MK day. You can then hop the monorail straight to the MK, or take the monorail to the TTC & switch to a monorail straight to Epcot.

On AK mornings we usually enjoy a small breakfast at our resort & get there early to see the animals, or go to Boma at the AKL for a late breakfast after some AK touring.

CP for breakfast on your MK day is a good plan & as much as I love visiting with Tigger, I usually never eat in the same restaurant for breakfast & dinner in the same day. I've never eaten at Concourse, so I'm not sure I can help with that - maybe move the Chef Mickey's to this night instead?

HTH! :)

I would do a few things differently.
Dec 1 looks good...you could actually take the monorail from Epcot to MK (have to transfer at TTC), then take the resort monorail to Contemporary. Then you could walk back to MK via the path and take a bus back to your resort.

Dec. 2.....have you considered Donald's Breakfastasaurus in AK for breakfast? We really enjoy that one, and you'll be in the park already...no wasted time.

Dec 3...this is where I would put the 1900 Park Fare meal. Either for breakfast or dinner. You could do CP for breakfast, then take the monorail (or the ferry boat) to GF for dinner at 1900 Park Fare.

Dec 4....I actually prefer to have a nice, big late lunch right around 3ish if I can. So, no it doesn't seem to early to me. I pesonally prefer 50's PTC to Sci-Fi but that is personal pref.

So...sounds pretty good. You could use your car, but it doesn't sound like you'll be doing too much traveling to eat. I like to try to eat at a resort that is right there closeby to the park I'll be in.

JMO, getting to/from the parks can be easier if you drive yourself. We usually drive to Epcot and Disney Studios; take Disney bus/boat/monorail to MK and bus to AK. When we drive, we try to arrive early for closer parking to the gate -- less of a walk.

If you depend on Disney buses to get back from the park, you are limited by their schedule. Mid-day transportation can take awhile, so we always plan lunch in the park.

For your AK day, I'd think of doing Donald's character breakfast if you can get it. By noon the safari ride can be less than exciting as many animals are finding shady spots to sleep. It's a good idea to maximize your time at each park.

MK day -- breakfast at CP is great. Concourse Steakhouse is very good for dinner.

For the MGM day -- wow, dinner at 3:30 is kinda early, so I'd go with Sci-Fi (even though I'm not a big fan).
