Dining Plans

Just booked our trip for early June and it included the Half Board plus. I'm pretty clueless on the dining options. Do people at DLP stress over dining reservations like WDW does? Am I behind the gun? Is it something that I can do there?

I can find how to make them online. Do I have to call them in? Since I booked on the French site, I guess I have to call France, is that correct?

Anyone have suggestions on dining locations not to miss?

for early June you won't have to call at all - you'll be able to make all your restaurant reservations at your hotel on the day you arrive, and I'd be really surprised if you didn't get the dates and times that you want to eat .

No stress over dining reservations at DLP unlike WDW!

I believe you'd have to call France to make dining reservations. Most places should still have places even on the day (with exception of Walts and Blue Lagoon that may be busier).

I really like Walts (table service), the atmosphere service and food have been excellent all times I've been there. If you can ask for a window overlooking Main Street! Blue Lagoon has a pretty good atmosphere (is inside the PoTC) ride, though I wasn't such a huge fan of the food. I also quite liked Parkside Diner and Hunter's Grill in HNY and Sequoia Lodge respectively - the food in both was quite similar, of good quality and with lots of selection!

If you want A character meal you should try book in advance. or maybe book on arrival for your last day.

yes you'll be safe with a picky eater at the buffets.

DLRPMagic has a great section with menus for almost all (if not all) the DLP resort restaurants.
