dining plan ?

If you've ever purchased the dining plan in the last year, I have a question for you......We will be going to Narcoossie's and was wondering if they restrict you from getting the lobster on the dining plan? Or by charging you two credits, you can order from the regulare menu with no restrictions....thanks in advance, Sue

Hi Sue!

Two dining credits seems like a lot to wonder if their even going to restrict the menu on you. I hope not! I've been reading a lot about the dining plan and it just seems like getting a prepaid DISNEY gift card kind of solves the headaches and everything is "paid for" in advance.

I hope someone can answer this better - my only advise was if there are any kind of restrictions or if your willing to use TWO of your credits the gift card option might be a good substitute!

if you mean, buying a disney gift card and loading it with your saved vacation money, or, buying multiple cards as you save squirrel some money away.....I was actually considering doing that but wasn't sure if every place accepted the Disney gift card. PLaces in Epcot that may not be owned by Disney for example.....another question I guess altogether....

Hey it's me again Sue!

Most places accept the Disney money as it's pretty much their currency!

What I'm talking about is some families regardless of what the cost is to what the use like the dining plan because everything is prepaid. We just set our own budget to a gift card - so not only did we feel we ordered just what we wanted we ate where we wanted too as the 2 table credits scared me off! We still have a LOT of Disney money on it too!

Tell me how that lobster is when you get it!

There's an entire subforum dedicated to the Dining Plans, but yes, you can order the lobster or the Surf & Turf at Narcoossee's.

they do NOT restrict the menu. you can order the lobster.
