Hi everyone, We are traveling in November & have opted for the Quick Service Meal Plus Dining. In total we want to do 4 character meals & 1 dinner show:

Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
Akershaus (Lunch)
Hoop De Doo (Dinner)
CRT (Dinner)
Crystal Palace -Pooh (Breakfast)
Is it worth it to take this dining plan or is it better to upgrade to the deluxe dining plan? We are 7 in total traveling, 4 adults, 3 children (7,6,3). We are also going to b
e there for a total of 6 nights 7 days. Any advice would be really helpful :cool1:

You need to book the "regular" dining plan...

There is Quick Service...
Regular
and Deluxe....

The regular dining plan will accomodate your needs... you don't need the Deluxe....

Hope that helps...

You need the regular dining plan as stated above
Quick Service does not give credit for sit down meals

You are using 7 credits (HDD and CRT are 2 each) per person...but for 6 nights, you have 6 credits per person, so you will have to pay out of pocket for one of your sit down meals

Nobody's sure which dining plan you're on.

There is a quick service plan, which is 2 CS credits and 2 snack credits per night. No table service.

There is the "regular" or "basic" dining plan. Disney markets this as "dining plus" (this term isn't really used on the boards because it is confusing.) This gets you 1 TS, 1 CS, 1 snack per night. I hope this is the plan you have, because this is the plan you need with your schedule.

I don't see why you would need the deluxe plan (3 meal credits, CS or TS, and 2 snacks per night) unless you are planning to book some more TS restaurants. Everything you booked is either a buffet or fixed price, fixed menu, so you don't need to consider whether or not you'd want to get appetizers covered.

Sounds like you are going to have a great trip… so lets figure this out 

I am assuming that you are counting on the 3 having their own plan/eating. Also assuming that you are getting the DDP with 1 Quick Service, 1 Table Service, 1 Snack.

Chef Mickey's (breakfast) - $27 per adult = (4 x $27 = $108) + $13.99 per child = (3 x $14 = $42) Total = $150 1 TS Credit

Akershaus (Lunch) - $41.53 per adult = (4 x $41.53 = $166.12) + $24.49 per child = (3 x $24.49 = 73.47) Total = $239.59 1 TS Credit

Hoop De Doo (Dinner) = Category 2 Seating $56.99 per adult = (4 x $56.99 = 227.96) + $27.99 per child ($27.99 x 3 = $83.97) Total = $311.93 2 TS Credits

CRT (Dinner) = $54.76 per adult = (4 x $54.76 = $219.04) + $33.60 per child (3 x $33.60 = $100.80) Total = $319.84 2 TS Credits

Crystal Palace -Pooh (Breakfast) = $22.99 per adult = (4 x $22.99 = $91.96) + $12.99 per adult (3 x $12.99 = $38.97) Total = $130.93 1 TS Credit

Total for Table Service Meals = $1152.29 for 7 TS Credits

Quick Service (Approx. $) =
Adult $12 x 4 = $48 per day x 6 nights = $288
Child $8 x 3 = $24 per day x 6 nights = $144
Total = $432

Total for all meals = $1584.29 ***You only get 6 TS Credits and with the above meals you are using 7 TS Credits. You will need to eliminate one

Total for DDP =
Adults = $44.99 x 4 = $183.96 x 6 = $1103.76
Child = $11.99 x 3 = $35.97 x 6 = $215.82
Total = $1319.58

Personally, if you chose those meals… I would not get the DDP. I would pay OOP because you never know if the 3 and 4 yr old will want to just share with you.

I hope this helps :)

Those are all "admission" meals (buffets, dinner shows. etc.) -- there's no option for sharing as everyone must pay regardless of how much they eat.

HAHA good point~! That is what you get for just looking at pricing and not the places.

You caught me red handed early in the morning :) lol

Thank you though. OP... add this comment! haha
