I purchased the disney dining plan with a snack, quick service meal and a table service meal. Instead of a table service meal are you able to use those credits for a quick service meal instead?

So that would be 2 quick service in one day?

If you are staying for 5 nights, per person you get 5 snacks, 5 counter service meals, and 5 table service meals. They can be used in any order (ie you do not need to use a table service each day). You can use 2 table service meals on one day, and none the next.


Some people have recorded success in converting table service meals to counter service. However, outside of some extra busy periods (ie during some free dining promos in the Fall), Disney hasn't had any offical policy on this.

Yes...you can downgrade your credits. We have done this a couple of times when we knew that we did not want a table service one night. Really not worth the money.
Is it just one time that you want to do this?
If all you want is quick service you could get the new addition to the DDP which is the QSDP. You will get 2 QS meals, 2 snacks per day and a resort refillable mug. I believe it is 19.99 a night per adult.

I believe the CS Meal Plan is $29.99 per adult........not $19.99

I've already purchased the dining plan through the travel agent and I don't believe i'll be able to switch. I was suppose to be going with someone else and now the person i am going with mostly wants to do quick service meals. So I was just wondering if we could use the table service credits for a quick service credit instead.

If you will have an extra TS credit, perhaps consider booking a signature meal (2TS) for one of your sit down meals during your stay. It is really kind of throwing money away to use a TS credit for CS. California Grill at the Contemp, Artist Point at WL, Yachtsman Steakhouse at YC are all really great choices. Also CRT is 2TS. Most people end up with extra snack credits too - don't forget these can be used to get bottled water and drinks.

Ask your travel agent to make the switch, it should be easy to do. If they do not want to...find a new travel agent.
