:) For the both of us we had 12 snack credits, I ended up bring home 12 rice Crispie bars worth $35.00 from roaring forks, even the lady at the register was laughing but after eating full meals including dessert snacks wernt even and option. we had some great meals, any questions ask away :)

Okay so you had the deluxe plan then right? 12 snacks for 2 people over 3 days would be on the deluxe plan. Also all those TS meals would not be covered by the basic plan.

One question though...did you eat at those places because you were on the deluxe DDP, or would you have eaten there anyway? We had gotten the dining plan (basic) back in July because after I looked at some of the menus and decided on where we would eat (all on property since we stayed on property and it was easier with the kids, plus we wanted lots of character meals for them), I did the math and the DDP actually ended up saving us money, even before the snack credits were factored in. And those snack credits were wonderful because once we got there we discovered Mickey ice cream bars!! Definitely came in handy not to have to pay cash for those!
We did have 2 snack credits leftover when all was said and done so on our last morning I picked up a bowl of grapes for the drive, and a Mickey chocolate covered rice krispie treat (I just love those things!).

We had considered deluxe originally because of being able to enjoy more TS options but then I thought about it more and figured that we would rather have a quicker lunch and see more attractions, plus we only wanted to do 2 breakfasts and the rest was cereal in the room. So deluxe would have been way too much food and was more expensive of course.

Glad you enjoyed the dining plan! We know we will be getting it at least on our next trip. It is a great value, especially for our kids at those character dinners since the cost just for a child is more than it costs for a child for one full day on the basic DDP!

I did the DDP because I knew that Citricos and narcoosees are 2 TS I choose those places not because I was on the dining plan that were mosty new places for me to try. I knew that Citricos and narcoosses would be expensive ( and worth every penny even if I did pay out of pocket) I could of done without the snacks but bringing home the mickey rice crispie bars are a real treat with a cup of tea at night. I will do the DDP next time, the way I broke it up worked out for us. I really would have loved the school bread or a pastry from France or a Mickey ice cream bar but I didn't shove food down, just ate till my tummy was content. :rotfl:
