HI:

have any of you tried the prepaid food ticket at UO/IOA? I think it would save me some money plus the food is alike in all the counter tops but I haven't read many good things about it. Is it really that bad? or is it usefull?:confused3

For us, it would not be worth it. You are limited on where you can eat, and it doesn't include drinks. It does include dessert, but we don't eat dessert. I did see an offer for MasterCard users to purchase it in advance for $14.99 per person, which could make it worth the money. Here is a link for all of the MasterCard offers http://secure.universalstudios.com/...&SalesCategoryGroup=MCUO&SalesCategory=MDTMCO

you could always purchase it for one day and see how it works out for you

We did this last time we were at US/IOA. I have teenage boys and it worked out great for feeding them.We always took the cookies for dessert and kept then in our bag. We then had cookies for days after the meal deal.

i think i am going to use the mc on line deal and buy the meal deal for one day.

i'll be in the parks for 5 days straight and i can use the meal deal for chicken strips and burgers.

We are going to US/IOA HRH this Saturday (CAN'T WAIT!!) and we pre-purchased the mastercard special (thanks for the heads up) for 14.99 per person. I have two six foot tall teenage boys who LOVE to eat and the parks are open until 10 pm so I think they will put Universal Studios into bankruptcy :lmao: by the end of the day!

I will report back on our feelings when we return.

have a great time.....will be looking forward to reading your/their reviews

Thank you t-n-a for posting the link to the mastercard discounted meal deal. I bought tickets yesterday for our upcoming trip.

I just ordered these for our summer trip.. Thanks

We decided too to buy the MC deal for our next trip in December. We thought for $15 each we couldn't go wrong. Even if we ate twice, we would be coming out ahead. We thought it was a great deal and are happy with the selections available....But that isn't something we would want everyday either. It's just for the one day that we bought it....
