Dining Plan with UT tickets?

If I book a room directly through Disney and already have tickets (from Undercover tourist), can I add on the dining plan, or do I have to buy tickets with the room to get the plan?

You will need to at least buy a 1 day ticket for each guest that is staying in your party. I bought my tickets from UT also and this is what I had to do- I bought a 1 day ticket for all 3 of us in our party.

Yeah, the DP is only allowed to be part of a "package" (room/tickets). Pretty stupid, if you ask me. Disney is loosing out on revenue by not selling the dp to those with room only, or even off site reservations.

As pp's have said, you have to buy at least a 1 day base ticket through Disney for everyone in the room in order to get the DDP. With that said, there are some exceptions. AP holders, DVC members staying on points (or someone renting points), and Military can book a ticketless package (room + DDP), but all others must purchase tickets.

Yes and since its $100 per person for a 1 day ticket, I am not sure if you can save any more through UT .... not sure just how discounted their tickets are ....
