Dining plan with free style

My husband and I will be done there september 13th to the 17. If we get the Dining plan with the freestyle. Do you have to pay 10 each day to activate it.

Yes, only the first day of use of the cup is free. Then you pay I think each day after that to use it for that day. Think with tax it is around 10 dollars each day of activating it. I think if you don’t want to pay for full use for the day, you may be able to get it filled at a quick service place or where snack place has a fountain soda machine, and I think you can now pay the refill price around $1.50 or so, plus tax each time you refill your mug. That is, not using the you serve Coke machines, but have it refilled once at a time by paying at a counter or snack cart for one refill.

Ok....thanks I am just trying to figure out if it is worth getting the dining plan with the refillable cup

My family drinks a LOT of soda, so we've collected Freestyle Cups from Universal & bring them back when we visit to reactivate them. We also like Icee which is included with the Coke Freestyle when your cup is activated for the day. We've never done the dining plan but other bloggers have said you would get the most for your money using it at the Harry Potter restaurants. There was a Disboards thread that had the menus from Universal restaurants but I'm unsure how updated they are if you're looking for price comparisons.
