Dining Plan Upgrade Question

I am trying to plan a trip next March to Disney World, and thinking of it being my DH, my brother20, my niece6 and myself. I want to know if this is possible.

Could I get a basic 1 day park ticket for everyone with the Dining Plan, then once we check in, upgrade to a Seasonal Pass or add days with Florida Resident discount. I know if I get the plan I need to have at least a Annual Pass (but we're not going enough to be cost effective) or non-discounted park tickets of at least 1 day. I want the dining plan and I want Seasonal Pass. Even if I upgrade after we check out is it possible?

You can always book the passholder dining plan and just buy tickets for whoever needs them when youre there. Just be sure to get your seasonal pass before or shortly after you check in, depending on how nice the CM is
