I'm sure this has been posted somewhere countless times. . .

I am considering upgrading my dining plan from the QSDP to the basic DDP. I am aware of the cost increase between the two plans. . .

Was wondering though, as this is a change to our reservation----if Mickey tacks on an additional service charge to make this happen. Just curious from those who may have done this before . . .

Thanks!

They CAN and I believe it is $50. But most of the time if you are upgrading, they don't charge you to do that. The charge usually happens when people are downgrading some aspect of their package.

If you're more than 45 days out, you can make any changes without penalty. After that, it's technically a $50 change fee, but they should waive that, as noted. I think if the change is within a week (but more than 3 days), there is a $15 charge regardless of upgrading.

I appreciate the 'heads up'----I guess then I should call this week if I'm going to go ahead with the upgrade. Thank you for the info!
