We are back from a quick trip. I thought I'd send out an overall review of the Dining Plan.
We were 4 adults on the plan, Dd10 though was allowed to order from the kids menu's.
How we used the plan:
8 TS- Kona and Teppan Edo
3 CS- Earl of Sandwich (Dd10 just wanted a fruit cup and they allowed us to get that as my dessert for my meal)
2 CS-Yakatori House (we shared two meals here between the four of us and were so full we couldn't finish both desserts!)
3 CS-Last morning breakfast at POP.
2 SC-Goofys in DTD-Lollipops for the girls to bring home to friends. Chip and Dale trail mix which we snacked on all morning instead of having a big breakfast on our Epcot day.
Paid OOP for water at Epcot ($2), sushi at Teppan Edo ($8), water at POP
($2), funnel cake in Epcot ($4.50...they didn't take the plan).
We had six snack credits leftover at the end of our stay so we stocked up on Chip and Dale trail mix for home.
Financially, it was a very good deal and we ate over $200 more than we spent on the plan. But, in terms of our family...it was just too much food. We've used the plan twice, and I think the next time we go we will just pay OOP. I think the plan is a good one, but it just doesn't work anymore for our family.
