Dining Plan restaurants

My husband and I have purchased the Deluxe Dining Plan for our November trip. We used the brochure on the Disney web site to help us decide to go with dining, because it lists several restaurants at Epcot where we always eat and some that we've wanted to try. (In fact, we're staying at the BWI for the first time so that we're closer to where we eat dinner almost every night.) My question is the following: Is the brochure on the Disney web site correct? Has anyone found that restaurants do not participate yet that they are listed in the brochure as included?

This trip (our fifth), I bought a different guidebook (The Complete Walt Disney World 2008) because it offered reviews of all the restaurants and what looked like better info about other activities, but it lists that China, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico and Morocco don't participate in the DxDP. The Disney web site lists restaurants at each as participating, although there is the standard "locations are subject to change without notice..." at the bottom of the list. I realize that sometimes updates are not posted as quickly to web sites as they should be, but this would be a big problem for us. Or, is the guidebook wrong?

If we get there and have dinner at Teppan Edo, for example, and find out that they don't accept DxDP even though they were listed in the brochure, my husband will explode and there goes the relaxing vacation that I've worked two years to get him to take. :sad2:

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I would imagine that the reason they say that these places do not participate is because when the book went to print, Disney was still negotiating their contracts with those restaurants and they were listed as not being part of the plan at that time. The same thing happened last year when they changed the plan a bit.

I think that you'll find that any restaurant listed as participating in the brochure on line is part of the dining plan. I believe the only one on site that doesn't (and someone will correct me if I'm wrong) is Victoria & Alberts.
