Dining Plan/Renting Points

Can someone tell me if I am renting points can I pre-pay for the dining plan? I have not ever rented points so this is new to me. I would love to be able to have the dining plan paid for before I arrive. Thanks!

sorry. the DVC owner would need to let disney know ahead of time that you wanted the dining plan, but you would not pay until you arrive.

One thing you can do is just buy yourself a Disney gift card and then use that to pay. I have read that some people have done it this way to ensure they have it "paid for" ahead of time.
