Dining Plan question

I was sure that I had read somewhere that you only had to buy a one day ticket and you could get the dining plan for the entire length of your stay. When I went to book our campsites at FW I was told that I could only get dining for the number of days I had MYW tickets for.

NO!!!!

It's the number of nights you are staying at the resort - it has nothing to do with your theme park tickets at all.

Unless things have changed, you are right. When I booked my original reservations, (and when I was pricing our revised ones) I was told that as long as everyone in the party bought a one day, base ticket we would be entitled to dining for the entire stay. I confirmed that, ran the numbers, and DSis and I decided on the AP rate, no dining.
