We did the DDP last year and are looking at the QSDP this year however we will be in 2 rooms, which will be booked together so 1 reservation. If we were to upgrade 1 room to DDP could we split the table credits between the 2 rooms. I know this may be against the rules but I didnt know if because its 1 reservation and all would be on a dining plan would it be allowed?

If not how do they know who is and isnt on the dining plan? If we did do this and tried to use the credits how would they know only three and not 5 were on that particular plan?

If you want to upgrade all of you would have to if its all in one reservation. Once you call to upgrade they would see how many are in your family. There is no way around it.

To broaden the previous post, the only way to upgrade 1 room and not the other would be to have 2 separate reservations versus have 2 rooms on 1 reservation.

If you did have 2 separate reservations they would see the number of guests on the DP and you would not be able to order more than the allotted number of meals based on the amount of people. You wouldn't be able to order 4 TS meals at one restaurant if only 2 adults are on the DP. You wouldn't be able to share meals on the DP if everyone ordering isn't on it.

Honestly, the amount of energy it would take to try and work around the DP rules isn't worth it - and if they would happen to find out about any rule breaking you could be asked to leave without refund.
