Hi All,

Im sure this has been asked loads before BUT lol have been reading trip reports and I just had a thought......

Ok travelling with my mum next June for 10 nights and we have the DDP, my question is: For the credits, are the put in one big pool on both our KTTW cards as we are the same party or is it 10TS 10CS and 10snack on each our cards????

This might sound silly, but mum is terrible with queuing up for food and it would suit us better if she could go sit down and I que and get both out CS meals/snacks etc instead of having to each go to the counter......?? :confused3

Im not even sure if Im making sense lol any help appreciated :)

No, the credits are 'pooled'. When you check in, you will have an allocation of credits for the duration of your stay (10 x 2 x TS, 10 x 2 x CS and 10 x 2 x SC). How you use those credits is up to you. The only rule is you can only buy the number of meals as there are people in your party (at each meal for TS or each time through the line at CS). So, you could easily line up at a CS and get two meals for you and your Mum.

Hi sorry to hijack - when you say the number of your party, do you mean the number of you that are actually there or the size of the disney booking? Sorry if I sound stupid, but we have booked as a group of 7 for next year and won't want to eat together at every meal - try different restaurants etc. TIA :)

If it helps DH and I have both bought from different booths at the F&W using our snack credits off our KTTW and this was never a problem. Same as ordering from different stations at Cosmic rays. Never had a problem. We have even ordered three meals (we wanted to use up some credits) at one CS place and there were only two of us and its never been a problem.

The credits will all be pooled together depending whos in the room.
each person who is in that room, will get a kttw card, which can access all the dining credits.
If theres 4 people in the room, you can just use 1 card and get 4 meals at the same time. or you can go off and order differently.
you just cant order more than 4 meals at one time...........(well youre not meant to)

each person can order up to 4 QS meals each if they want, they just have to wait in line.on TS meals you don't have to eat at same restaurant, just use your card accordingly

I had a discussion with a CM 2 years ago about this. I went to concierge to collect Hoop Dee Doo tickets for 13 people yet only 3 of us in the room. The CM took all the credits (26) off my account. Took quite a while to refund and take them off the correct accounts and I got $50 comp(used at the DISmeet for drinks:thumbsup2) but I questioned how he could take them all off one account when only 3 were in the room, wasn't the T&Cs 1 meal per person. His response was they do not care how we use them, if I wanted to order 20 meals and give them out people thats upto me, they were my credits to do whatever I like with.
Maybe the CM's in restaurants would be more strict, I don't know, I have never tried getting more than 3 meals.

We witnessed something similar in yachtsman steak house the table next to us had 3 couples in separate rooms two couples on ddp one not they took all 12 credits off one room! The people kicked up a bit of a fuss!

We had our credits from two rooms pooled :)

I also managed to order 7 meals by myself every time I went to the counter, so we didn't come across any maximum number of meals you could get per person at any one time. Have fun!

How many in your party? if you had 7 people then thats correct, you should be able to buy 7 meals no problem. You shouldn't be allowed to get 8 or more.

I'm glad this question was asked! I'm doing QSDP for the first time this year and was wondering if DBF and I would have to queue seperately with a room key each every time we went to eat! :rotfl: I now have the answer :goodvibes

Our tickets all had A05 on them. Which let the CMs know that our party was five adults.
Therefore I could go up to any counter service and order up to 5 meals on my own.

It's the CS where credits are an issue as they are no split on the system between adult and child. Therefore in attempt to stop people ordering adult meals for kids they brought in the rule you wouldn't be able more meals than shown on the KTTW cards.

If its all adults I don't know how strictly it is enforced though.
