Dining Plan Question

I see that the dining plan allows you an entree and desert. Could you forgo the desert and get an appetizer and entree instead?

No. Just about everyone would like that option, but they do not offer that. With the deserts, they can mass produce, so lower cost. It is all about the bottom line.

You cannot substitute an appetizer for a dessert. This is one of the hard and fast rules that the restaurants will not budge on.

Otherwise people would then share by having one person order an appetizer and another order a dessert. Many appetizers take longer to prepare than desserts and people would be occupying the table longer, thus it would not be turned around as quickly. Yet more factors affecting the bottom line.
