Dining Plan Question

We have a Free Dining Grand Gathering in Sept, and none of us has ever used the DP before. So here's the question: Family of 4 - all over 10. 2 girls going to CRT (2TS) and 2 boys not going. So this leaves the boys with EACH 2 TS credits not used. Can all 4 of them to to dinner using 4 credits that "belong" to the boys only? Hope that makes sense. Thanks if anyone knows the answer.

All in the same room and therefore on the same card? (So it'll say 4 A?) If so, then yes, no problem. They can enjoy a 1 TS meal together at another time.

Thanks, yes they are all in the same room. So I guess they can use the 4ATS at one time. But that brings up another question : If everyone is on the same card, what do they do if they split up for a day?

Well, everyone will have their own card. But each card will say 4 A on it. So each person will have access to the pooled TS, CS and snack credits for the reservation on their own KTTW (key to the world) card.

Ex: Each person- Sally, Sue, John, and Tom can eat at 4 different restaurants at the same time by themselves. They'd pay with their own card (it is their park admission, room key and dining plan credits - as well as linked to their credit card if desired) and then meet up later if they want. OR they can all eat together and any one of them can hand over ONE of the cards to the server to pay for all 4 of the meals.

Does that make sense? It works the same way for counter service and snacks.

Each person in the room will receive a card key, with their ticket package ( if you have it) and dining plan. Any of the cards ( 4 in your case) can be used for snacks, counter service, and table service.
The credits are not divided by person ( if you are staying 4 nights, for 4 people) you get 16 snacks, 16 counter service, and 16 table service. You can use them who you wish.

Girls can go to CRT, using 4 TS credits, 2 of which belong to the boys. While they're doing that, the boys could either do their own TS (but then you'd end up with an uneven # of credits, unless they, too, did a 2 credit dinner) or could get a CS or snacks somewhere else at the same time, using their own cards.

The KTTW cards work much like credit cards--one statement at the end of the trip, but both dh and dw have cards that they can use at the same time. I believe kids' cards can be used to access DDP credits, too.
