How does the dining plan work. They say it's 38.99 per day for adult. Now does that mean for my 5 day trip I can only eat $189 worht of food if I multiply it out by 5 days or is it actually 1 counter service, 1 table service and 1 snck per day no matter what the cost. For example if I go to the Concourse Steakhouse at the CR if I order a $28 entree or a $18 entree is it still 1 table service no matter the cost or do they count it by the cost. Thanx.

It is one counter, one table and one snack per day - so whether you eat a $28 entree or a $10 one it still counts as one table service. It has enabled us to eat at a lot of reteraunts that we normally wouldn't go and pay out of pocket for. Makes vacation a lot more enjoyable!!!

That is so awesome I don't know why I haven't done this in the past. We are doing the free dining in a couple weeks. We are DVC members but couldn't pass this up. Staying at ASMo. Thanx a lot!

We never go without buying the meal plan now. The only problem is we end up eating more then we really want to LOL! You can get one snack per person per day (popcron, drink, chips, ice cream etc.) One counter service per person per day (drink, meal, dessert) and one table service or character buffett per person per day (for table service, drink appetizer, entree, and dessert) We just got back yesterday and ours paid for itself by day 3! For our table service meals we did, Ohanahs, Kona Cafe, Le Celliars, Chrystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, and Sci Fi. We problably would not do priority seating meals ever day if not for the dining plan,
Last time we went in December we did the same thing but were lucky enough to get Cinderella's Royal table included for just one table servie- now I think it takes 2. Don't even hesitate! You will love the value and convienence of it :)

:cool1: We are doing the free dining plan also for our trip at the end of September and this will be our first experince using it. I have read somethings and it seems really good, but you do have to :worried: becareful because some resturants will use 2 of your meal tickets towards their meal. I found a site at Disney that is very helpful on which places allow you to use the dining plan and how many meal tickets each place takes. When you are in the section of booking your trip just type in disney dining plan it then comes up with the results which you click on the first one and from there it takes you to a site on description of the plan and a link for a listing of the resturants. :woohoo:

The question is when is disney going to realize that this to good to be true for us and tak eit away or modify it?
