Dining Plan Question

We are thinking about purchasing the dining plan for our upcoming 4 night stay. I understand it is added on for each night of our stay. My question is when do the credits expire? We aren't arriving until early/mid evening on a Friday and are going home on a later flight on Tuesday. Can we use our credits during the day on Tuesday (after our last night''s stay on Mon. night?) We probably won't be there in time to do much but sleep on the Friday night. Thanks.
