Dining Plan Question. . .Picky Eater :(

We are planning a trip and we are adding the dining plan. For the most part it will work out great. Family of 4 with 2 PICKY eaters!!!

Question: Can we go eat a table service, but buy them something off the kids menu (10 and 15) and save the table services for another night? There are a couple of places we would like to try at Epcot, but I know they are not going to eat off of the adult menu.

At 10 and 15, your kids are adults on the dining plan. They will be allowed to order off the kids' menu, but they will be charged 1 adult TS each.

Yes, you can pay cash for the kids menu items and save the credit.

Yes, at almost all TS restaurants you can order from the children's menu and pay OOP. It is a great way to save credits for additional meals or 2 credit meals. There have been occasional posts that this was not allowed by a restaurant or server - La Hacienda in Epcot has been mentioned.
