So sorry if this question has already been asked a million and one times; I have not posted on this board in a while. DH and I are considering the dining plan for our October trip. Here are my questions regarding CS meals:

1. If, for example, you go to ABC Comm. in MGM and order the scrambled egg platter for breakfast, does a muffin or danish count as "dessert?"

2. If you chose to use a CS credit at Main St. Bakery, can someone give me an example of what would count as an entree/comdo and what would constitute a dessert?

Thanks so much pixiedust:

there is no dessert at breakfast on the dining plan... this is a relatively new "change" to the plan (when we were there in august/sept, dessert was permitted; when we were there last week, it was not)... we also received a big postcard outlining the dining plan and how breakfast is not a "meal/side/dessert/drink" meal, but rather an "entree/drink-that's it" meal! when we ordered a bagel sandwich at our food court, we were not even permitted a "side dish" to go w/it (like home fries) as each breakfast entree is considered a "meal" in and of itself...

i do not know what constitutes breakfast at the main street bakery (but right now wish i was there to find out! LOL!)

Thanks so much gigi1313!! Sounds like if your looking to maximize the dining plan, breakfast is not the meal to chose for CS credits. I echo your thoughts about wishing I was at the Bakery :)

exactly! although we found that one breakfast platter really was enough food to feed two if we supplemented w/a bagel oop... and there were days when a bagel and a piece of fruit (snack on the ddp) was enough to stretch a platter for three of us (i got the bacon/potatoes, ds got the sausage on a bagel, dd got the eggs and fruit) if we knew we were having an early-ish lunch... but if we were eating waffles or pancakes, we each needed our own meal...
ENJOY!

Last fall, CS at the Bakery was 2 items & a drink, but that was before the no dessert with breakfast change.
