Dining plan question again

Ok first I am not asking for ethical advice I've read that already. A friend asked me when you use your childs TS credit for adults at some place that offers a child menu do they make you use a credit for the child or do you have the choice of paying oop for the child? She doesn't wat to use 2 credits for california grill on her 5 year old. Could she just have her eat off her plate and not even order anything?

Well for one..All the credits are pooled into one account on the room key, so they will not distinguish it as a child credit per say. Also if they would rather pay for the child out of pocket or even let the child share off of mom or dad's plate tell them just to make sure that they tell the CM that before they order. Tell them to make sure they check the receipt before they leave as the CM's do make mistakes and just look at the check as an order of 3 and charge 3 TS credits. We had that happen more than once!!!
