You can print it on whatever you wish. A cardstock would be a little more sturdy or you could print to regular paper and either laminate or cover in clear contact. When I did ours, I just included it in my small planning book that I kept in my bag - because it was our first trip and I needed to keep my plans and DIS tips on hand.

Some people have stated that they print them to be like business card or index card size. I hope this helps!
