Dining Plan - Pooled credits??

Does anyone that has been there recently know if the credits are still being pooled?? I know they were going to change this but haven't heard anything else about it.

I haven't been there yet, but I've heard several people reporting since Aug. 21 (when the free dining started) that the credits are still pooled.

I really didnt see what the fuss was about on these boards after experiencing the Dining Plan for ourselves.

It went very smooth, and you are given a receipt after each use to tell you how many credits you have left. Not once did the issue of child credit or adult credit come up. They are just credits, to be used how you want to use them. No explanations required on how we wanted to use our credits, I found them easy to use and a great value.

I was wondering when do you have to let them know that you will not be using the dining plan for one of the meals in your party? When you're seated? or perhaps when they take your order? I have a feeling that my DD might not like what's on the adult menu at one restaurant and if that is so, I'd rather order her a kids dinner, pay OOP and save the TS credit.

Just let them know that when you're seated. It's been a while since I've done a dining package (last time we did it was the old "silver plan", remember that?) and we did just what you are asking. They just bring you two receipts, one for the plan, and one for what you choose to pay OOP.

We just got back - credits are still pooled. There were a couple of times that we just used two table service credits due to feeding DS counter service prior to us going to table service and we had no issues whatsoever. DS is very picky and a couple of places didn't have what he would eat (these weren't buffets or character meals) and the server would just ask what we wanted and only charged us two meal credits (we sent him with ILs later for two character buffets to use his last two TS credits).
