Dining plan or tables in Wonderland?

We are headed to Disney in October and I am wondering if we should do the meal plan or the Tables in Wonderland? Which one would be better economically? I have myself, DH, DS 8 DS 11, and infant. DS 11 year old only wants meals off the kids menu and if I do meal plan have to pay for him as adult. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Can you just give DS11 adult meal to DS8 if he eats more? I think I would go for the TiW, but it does all depend one your eating habits, how many TS restaurants you have booked. You can alsO get some discounts at some QS locations with your AP.

Just wanted to make sure you knew that you need to be either: FL Resident, DVC owner, or AP holder to purchase a TiW card. And the price varies - $100 for the first 2 categories, $75 for AP holders.

TIW worked better for us because we are two adults, ate at mostly TS, don't always get dessert, get apps sometimes, apps are sometimes our meals and it gives the discount on alcohol. Plus we went to Victoria and Albert's last trip. Almost paid for itself there. In 6 days we came out about $100 ahead.

I think the dining plan is overpriced for what you get. If both of your kids were Disney kids it would be better.

We will be going with the TIW because I think it's more flexable and fits the way we eat better. We like to share an app and a dessert and maybe have a beer or wine with our meals. I can't find a way that the dining plan makes any sense for us.

Thanks for all your ideas. The kids aren't big eaters so I am thinking TIW the way to go
