Hi folks!

My fiance and I are getting married in early November and will be taking our honeymoon to The World (wooooo!).

We are from Tampa and are both Annual Passholders. We hit The Mouse all the time for day trips but don't stay overnight often, so we have very limited resort experience (have only stayed off-site and at All Star Sports and once at the Dolphin). Since cost is a bit of a factor, we can't go nuts. So we'll probably be staying 5 nights at a mod (either French Quarter or Coronado - or any of the others - your opinions on which are welcome!)

We are also considering using the DDP while there, but might use the Disney Dining Experience instead, if that would be the better deal. Keep in mind that we'd like to eat at the California Grill once, so that would take up 2 table credits, if I understand it correctly.

Any advice on a honeymoon suggestion for a mod, and what to do about DDP vs Experience?

P.S. Also, if you dine at California Grill and want to see Wishes during your dinner time, do you have to specify that when making the res, or are all seats able to view the fireworks?

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. My DH and I have used both the DDP and DE. We found the DE to be a much better plan. In years past, the DDP plan was good because it included the tip - not anymore. We the DE, the tip is included plus you get a discount on alcohol. I would recommend the DE versus the DDP. Hope this helps.
