Dining Plan - # of days

If we have an 8 night stay, can we get the dining plan for 7 days? Has anyone been able to do this? We generally arrive late and depart early, so we really only need 7 days of food but so far everything I've read says #days on DDP must equal #nights reservation.

The dining plan goes by the number of nights, you will need to pay for all 8 nights.

Sounds like a great chance to try a 2TS restaurant for a special night!
Don't think of the money this rule "wastes" think of all the possibilities it opens up.
