Dining Plan No Package

If I book a room only reservation can I get the dining plan?

It is my understanding that the dining plan has to be booked as part of a package. Except if you an annual pass holder or a disney vacation club owner then you can purchase the plan separately.

Only if you are an AP holder or DVC member. Other than that, you must purchase a package that includes a minimum 1-day base ticket for each member of your party.

If you are an AP holder, and you book a room reservation with dining, you will no longer have a ticket requirement. However, your room with dining will count as a package. You won't have to buy tickets; however, your reservation will carry the same deposit, payment and cancellation policies as other packages.
