dining plan--mugs---any updates?

Last year I read a post that they were testing the mugs for a "length of stay" restriction, based on a bar code type system. I had asked what the procedure was for a split stay. Any updates on this? We will be at BLT for 3 days and AKV for 4, and I would hate for my mugs to be useless for that last 4 days if I add the dining plan.

The test was only occurring at All-Star Sports. There is no new information on if or when it will be implemented resort-wide.
