I keep reading about people with left over snack credits at the end of the trip.

How?!?!?!?

I can eat like 20 of those mouse ear ice cream bars in a day :)

We used most of ours on water and we did get a couple of frozen bananas (didn't melt as quickly as ice cream). We came home w/ 2 rice krispie mouse things.

We didn't use a lot of snack credits during the day. I used most of them on the last day, I got Mickey Rice Crispy Treats and brought them home.

If your trip is within the Food & Wine Festival you can use your snack credits at the F&W booths for food purchases.

Most of the time we're so stuffed after lunch/dinner there's no way we could've eaten a snack! We did use some of it on water/soda, but lots of times at CSs I would get bottled water anyway and still have that after lunch. Lots of places I could just ask for a cup of water. We gave away some of our snack credits by buying popcorn and soda for some kids.

My family of 4 ended up with 9 snack credits on our last day. We were ALWAYS full, and used most of the snack credits for water or pop. I think we only bought 3 ice creams between us all for the whole 5-day trip. So on our last morning, we went to the food court at our resort and bought 9 bottled drinks. Drank some at the airport and on the plane, and brought the rest home for my son to take in his lunches at school.

Can't imagine anyone able to eat a snack after CS & full, TS dinner...we used for bottled water & popcorn, once.

No one goes hungry on the dining plan.:)

I agree!!!! We were so stuffed all of the time that even ice cream would've been too much most of the time. Plus, we use Brita water bottles so we didn't even use the credit for drinks. We brought home a lot of mickey rice crispy treats (much to my DD's glee).

Different ways of conserving snacks - get a drink at breakfast to take into park (allready had mugs). Get a dessert at breakfast to take into park. Save your dessert from lunch for later. We were never hungry from CS and TS each day - had 6 snacks left on the last day (2 RC treats, 2 cokes, 1 water, 1 popcorn).

I had also wondered how people had them left over, but when we were there it was just very hot and it is really too much food on the dining plan. We did not order dessert once at any of our TS, and by the end of the week we were sharing an appetizer. We used our snacks for drinks, an ice cream and popcorn, but had two left over. On the last day we got bags of chips at POP with them. I was very suprised we had them left, but we just could not use them at the time.

We also had about 6 snack credits left over. We were so stuffed after all of our meals we only used the credits for water. Also, we were upgraded to Concierge at the GF, so we had extra food and drink to sample :p

My son and I used the plan last April. At the end of the trip we had about 5 snack credits left. I used them in the PC food court to load up on drinks and desserts before going to the airport.

We weren't able to use them all because we wanted snack items that were not included with the dining plan. Instead of getting ice cream or popcorn with the plan, I ended up buy candy apples, funnel cakes, cookies, fudge...

I wish Disney would set a dollar amount (maybe $3.00-$4.00) to the snack option. That way you could use it for any snack within the stated price range.

My son and I love Mickey bars and WDW popcorn, but we had no desire to eat those items 10 days straight.
