dining plan/hoop de doo

When we first booked the hoop de doo we paid OOP later we added the dining plan. I haven't yet decided if I want to use credits or leave it OOP. We will be going Dec 1st. If we decide to wait till last minute to decide what is the latest we can wait? Can we wait till we get there that night and decide to use the DDP and get our money credited back? It will be dh's birthday and part of the reason I am worried about changing it to credits now is the seating I know they say it doesn't start till Jan but it worries me and if I had to choose between paying out of pocket and getting good seating or using the dp and getting bad seats I would rather keep it out of pocket. I am confused on what to do. TIA

I "think" you could wait up until when you pick up your tickets to decide if you want to use the DDP. At least that is the way it works in reverse - ie DDP isn't charged until you pick up the tickets and you can chose to pay with cash, cc, etc at that time. You might want to call dining to find out for sure. Regardless of how you pay your seats won't change. The new seating tiers don't go into effect until Jan. However, just because there aren't tiers set up now, there is no guarantee that you will be seated in any particular section. You still could have back of the theater or balcony seats even though you are paying OOP, it really depends on what was available when you made the reservation. Plus even the seats in the back and balcony sections aren't "bad" seats. I'd prefer the balcony to the tables right up against the stage any day. The actors circulate around the entire room, upstairs too so you won't miss out an any action even if you aren't seated front and center.
