dining plan for January 2008

Hi - We will be at disney at the end of January staying at the Polynesian. My question is regarding the 2008 dining plan. When we go out to restaurants and order off the dining plan such as wine or appetizers how does the tip work. In the dining plan for 2008 you pay the tip but is that separate or do they add it to the bill? I am assuming they will add it to your bill and then you pay the tip? Thanks for any help.

I'm wondering that as well. We are going the end of January (staying at BWV) and wondered how we tip as well.

I know for a party of 6 or more they will automatically bill you 18% for the tip. For a smaller size table, not sure. I would guess it would be up to you what you tip. Good question.

On both the dining plan and dining deluxe if there is 6 or more at your table you will receive a bill with the 18% gratuity. If you are a party of 5 or less it is up to you what you want to leave for a tip. The only plan that they include the tip regardless of party size is the DDE.
