Is it true Annual Passholders can add the dining plan to a room only reservation now? If so does anyone know the prices of the DDP & the Deluxe DDP? Thanx

Yes. AP holders can add the dining plan to their room-only ressie. HOWEVER, it turns it into a package with the 45 day cancel/change window. It can be anytime UP TO 3 days before you arrive. The price is the same as for other packages. Regular plan: $37.99 over 10 and $9.99 for ages 3 - 9. Someone else needs to chime in about the price of the deluxe package.

It's not really a room only, as a room only is just that -- room only.
You would need to book a WDTC AP ticketless package and cancel your room only res. But you would not want to cancel without first booking what you wish.

Deluxe is $69.99 over 10 and $19.99 for ages 3 - 9.

I booked a bounceback at the BWI, so If I do this does that mean I lose that rate?

Most likely. It is all dependant on what the rates are for the package you need to book.

Then it doesn't pay I'm getting a discount of more than $100 per night and the AP rates are blacked out that week, so it would cost me too much to get the benefits of the DDP

You might be better off buying a DDE membership. I don't recall the exact amount. I think it is $60. That membership starts when you purchase it and is good for 12 - 13 months, depending on how you hit the cycle when you purchase it.
It allows 20% discount at all sit down meal items, and some counter service places. Adult beverages are even included for the discount. The only block out periods are major holidays. And it is good for you and 9 other people who must be dining with you. (And no separate checks.)

I already have the DDE, its great. Last night I figured layed out all my ADRs and looked at the menus and added all the prices that I expected to pay and figured out what my break even point would be. It was very close to what the DDDP would have cost me, but when you factor in the added cost of the room, maybe next time.

Thanks for the help

It doesn't hurt to call and ask - no guarantee that they would change your rate just because you add the dining plan. I'm pretty sure it would have no effect on your room rate.

We booked SSR for December with an AP rate and and DDP and then decided to change to DxDP. They just added the DxDP to the exsisting room rateand cancelled the DDP. I think we did end up with a new reservation number, but same rate.

So, no I don't think you will loose your rate.
