Hi,
Newbie here feeling overwhelmed with all the planning needed for restaurants!
BF and I are going to be in Disney end of Sept, beginning of Oct. I'm still looking at restaurants, but know for sure Id like to book Boma, Biergarten and HDDR.

We never really eat desserts when we go out to eat and I mainly stick with water.

On the DDP it says entree, dessert and drink. Can I get milk to drink? And is there usually a fruit /healthier option for desserts?

I'm not sure if the dining plan would be worth it or not.
Caribbean beach resort is included now for free dining. I'm booked at POR right now so looking at switching.

If you can get CBR for the same price you've already booked POR, then you're eating for FREE, so it doesn't really matter whether you eat all that you're entitled to eat. I'd say go for it! The QS restaurants will have fruit or water instead of the dessert, but most TS places only have dessert. You can get milk for your drink at both.

Also, I think a few of the restaurants do have a fruit option as a dessert and most have a sugar free as well. And you can get fruit as your snack as well.

Like PP said, if it's the same price or even a couple hundred more you are coming out way ahead, as two people will probably spend more than 200 on food over the course of the trip. And you can still get good ADRs as people cancel all the time

Thanks guys.
No more POR booked, changed to CBR. Definately saves us money in the end and now we dont have to worry about $$ for meals!

I have been lucky enough with timing to have free dining on my last trip, paid for it on our big family trip. On both of these trips, I loved having the dining plan. I can order what sounds good not what the cheapest item on the menu is. Also, it helps with sticker shock at the prices at the table service restaurants. We also like to dine at the signature restaurants and the plan certainly helps there!
