Somewhere I thought I read that Disney is working on allowing people in the same group to purchase different dining plans. For instance, my sis-in-law always gets the Deluxe Plan and is telling my other sis-in-law it's such a better deal than the Basic Plan. So one sis-in-law wants to get the Deluxe Plan, she's the one paying for the trip for both families, but the other sis-in-law only wants the Basic.
The Deluxe family is the DVC family, the Basic family is not. The DVC family is booking the trip. So can each family get a different plan or do they all have to get the same one?
I'm thinking if they stay in different rooms they can get different plans, but is that true if the whole reservation is under the family who wants the Deluxe Plan?
