Dining Plan & Fantasmic

i've read many people getting the fantasmic dining plan (FDP) with the dining plan, tho the official word is you can't do it.

we have FDP for our last nite and would hate to save the table meals for it and then be told we can't use it.

has anyone tried to use the dining plan and NOT gotten the FDP???

Sorry I'm not using it until August but try a search. It was discussed a few weeks ago. Someone tried at MM & couldn't but someone else did at H&V with a $10 surcharge. I called CRO & they said no but i'm going to try anyway.

yes - used in February at H&V waitress suggestion with $10 "upcharge"

We will be in Disney World May 14-20. We were hoping to get PS for Fantasmic. What restaurants were you trying to make a PS for? What restaurants are available? Which ones are good?

Nevermind. I just called and got the info. The dinner package is still available. The problem is everyone has thought ahead and they're all booked up. There are only 6 seats available for May 18th. Guess we'll be making ours tonight.

We have PSs for the Fantasmic PKG for H&V for our upcoming trip in less than two weeks. I was told when I placed the PS that we couldn't use the Dining Pkg with it, but am I to understand that we can now?

'officially' fdp is not part of the package- but it appears that they've been letting people do it-

that's why i'm taking a poll to see
who has been able to use already
who has been turned down right at the restaurant
and which restaurant it is.
