Dining Plan entree cap?

Hi y'all! We have the Deluxe DDP and are trading in 2 credits for signature dining most evenings. Is there a general price cap on what we can order as an entree or is it different for every restaurant? How do I know in advance what's excluded? Thanks!

Nope, no such thing. Nothing is excluded.

I know at Narcoosees they have "enhancements" like a lobster tail that are priced separately; those would not be included on the plan if you want them.

Really? I know they excluded stuff at Fultons when we were last there. Like we couldn't order the lobster. I can't imagine they would let us order the $145 steak at Yachtmans... Or would they?

Not seeing anything that says the wagyu is excluded...but it's possible. They change things all the time. the porterhouse for two can be ordered by two people.

UK guests are being told this:

Signature Restaurants require the redemption of two waiter service meals per guest. Items on the menu that exceed $40.00 ($75.00 in Signature Restaurants) may not be available for a Disney Dining Plan Table Service meal without payment of a surcharge.

So I'd expect a surcharge for the wagyu, probably not a full exclusion.

Won't matter what size it is if they are surcharging any entree over $75. If it was for two, you could order it for two people without the surcharge.

Whether there is a surcharge on an entrée, and the amount of the surcharge, is going to be up to the restaurant.

The surcharge thing is very new, and it doesn't work like you'd expect. The surcharge is not based on the $40/$75 limit, but some other random amount. I believe the Wagyu surcharge valued two credits at $30-$35. One more reason the dining plan isn't cost effective.
