My DW just got home from work and tells me as she paid our balance should went to add on the DDP as we always do.CM tells her its not available with the land and sea package? Is this true?:mad:This makes no sense to me,can someone set me straight before i call back.
Thanks

DCL does not offer a DDP for the WDW part of the stay.
You would need to book the WDW portion as a WDTC package.

A WDTC package is a room plus tickets reservation package in most cases. A land/sea package is a different sort of reservation. You'd have to separate your resort stay from your cruise in order to book the type of package for which you can add a dining plan.

Thanks for your help,I understand what your saying but what is Disneys point dont they want me to buy the plan?

WDTC (Walt Disney Travel Co) does. ;)
DCL does not offer a DDP for the WDW portion.
WDTC and DCL are two separate companies. Maybe some day DCL will work something out with WDTC. (DVC did apparently.) But for now, I know of nothing. Although I agree, it is a good idea.
Currently, you would need to book a DCL trip and a WDTC package, separately.

Thanks for your help in this matter, you explain it well. 2 separate companies within 1 giant company that can't work together to make their guests happy,It's not like I'm going to Universal to eat!
I needed to vent Thanks:sad2:

We understand your frustration.
Still, I am sure you will have a wonderful trip! :wizard:
