Dining plan Decision

So we are still trying to decide on whether to purchase the dining plan. Seems like a lot of food but I thought I read where now you can share the plan with others in your party even if they are not staying with you. Is that correct? My son and family are also staying at a BLT but in a separate room than us. So if we purchase the dining plan and we all go to a character dining can we use 4 of our table service at that time (2 for us and 2 for them)? Just want to make sure I am reading this right. Thank you

yep. You have it right. They don't take roll call for the dining plan. It's all about the credits.

Yes, you now can share your credits. You could take your DS and pay for his meal

So if one of the grandchildren go with us can they also used our meals since we only bought for the 2 adults?

As long as the others are in their own room/own reservation than you can share, as you are saying. What you can't do is split your party on your one reservation for dining plan or not, everyone in the room on a dining plan reservation has to get the plan.

We have 2 separate rooms and 2 separate reservations but both are at the blt. My husband and I will be buying the plan for both of us for 5 nights=10 table services but if we want to share with the kids/grandkid in the other room they can also use our table services. Is that right? Under the 10 meals are gone. Correct? I just want to make sure I am getting this right because I don't think my husband and I can eat 10 meals plus all the other stuff.

Yes. They'd just deduct more credits.
